Description:

This is the source code for the technology preview of swak4Foam for blueCFD-Core 2.3.

It is derived from the development branch "port_2.0.x" of swak4Foam, scheduled to be released as version 0.3.1, which means that it's not yet considered to be a fully stable release. In addition, we invite users to give us feedback on this port for blueCFD-Core, so that we can integrate it into the future release of blueCFD-Core 2.3-2.

To install swak4Foam in your blueCFD-Core 2.3 installation, please follow these steps:

1. Download this file "swak4Foam-0.3.1-RC.tar.gz".
2. Go to the Start Menu -> Programs -> blueCFD-Core 2.3 -> Browse blueCFD-Core folder.
3. In the Windows Explorer interface that has opened, go into the folder "ofuser-2.3" and place the downloaded file there.
4. Start an MSys terminal.
5. Run the following commands (it can take 5 to 30 minutes to build swak4Foam):

       user
       tar -xf swak4Foam-0.3.1-RC.tar.gz
       cd swak4Foam-0.3.1-RC
       ./Allwmake -j 4 > log.make 2>&1
       ./Allwmake -j 4 > log.make 2>&1
   

   Note: Yes, the last line is repeated twice, so that it gives a summary of the build process at the end. And do replace the number "4" with the number of cores you want to use for building swak4Foam.
6. Once it's finished running the commands above, check the contents of the file "log.make" and search for any specific "Error" messages.
